General

Can I leave personal items in the vehicle being transported?
No, we cannot transport personal items in vehicles.
What areas do you service?
We have regular transport services between Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Tweed Heads areas and across the Beaudesert area.
What days and times do you operate?
We operate from 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday. After hours and weekends available by prior arrangement.
What keys do I need to give you?
We need the vehicle ignition key, door and boot keys. Please note that we are unable to transport your vehicle without being able to access your vehicle's boot for inspection purposes.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept: BPAY (credit card, savings, cheque), Direct Bank Deposit, Money Order and COD plus business cheque by prior arrangement.

Company

Do your staff wear uniforms?
Yes, our drivers wear a uniform - a yellow high-visibility shirt with our logo on it, navy shorts, hat for sun safety and closed toe shoes. Full uniform is required during all working/trading periods.
Does your company adhere to any policies?
Yes, our staff are professional drivers with many years car carrying experience and hold the appropriate licences. Drivers are trained and inducted in Carlink Transport Policies and procedures.

What insurance do you hold?
We are fully insured for all eventualities and hold Full Comprehensive insurance, Load insurance and Public Liability insurance. Please note that we are not insured for hail, storm damage or other acts of mother nature.

Services

Can you transport non-running and/or damaged vehicles?
Yes under special circumstances and at Carlink Transport's discretion we can transport non running and/or damage vehicles but they must be able to be fork lifted on and off at both ends in a safe environment and manner. This must be arranged by the customer prior to pick up and delivery. At the time of booking, please inform us why the vehicle is not running or how it is damaged (eg front-end damage).
Can you transport transport boats, trailers, caravans, horsefloats and motorbikes?
No, at this point in time, we only specialise in the transport of cars.
Can you transport unregistered vehicles?
Yes, we can - as long as the vehicle is never driven on an open road. We offer a full door to door service for all unregistered vehicles.

Do you provide free quotes?
Yes we do. Not only are our quotes free, but we'll give you all the advice you need to get the best job done for your requirements. If we can't help you, we'll direct you to someone who can. All our quotes are completely non-obligatory so please ask us to look at your transport requirements.
Do you transport modified vehicles?
Yes. Please explain modification at time of booking. e.g. Minimum clearance height is approximately 10cm from the ground to the lowest part of the car. Please note cars with spoilers/body kits can be difficult to load.
Does my vehicle require fuel?
Yes, a quarter of a tank will be sufficient for driving the vehicle on and off the transporter.
